The Weekly Happenings

The end of last week came with a foot of snow! It was crazy how nice it was at the beginning of the week and then it turned into a winter wonderland. While some of the snow melted off on Sunday, it still feels like winter has begun. We've had colder temps and snow off and on the past couple days.

Todd's parent's came for a visit this past weekend and we had a great time. Todd's mom got me a sewing machine and gave me a lesson. We even made a curtain for a small window in my laundry room. I am excited to take on sewing, mostly so I can make curtains whenever I need too. The next one will be for the bathroom.

Everett is starting to pull up a lot now. It seems his goal is to crawl to anything that he can then pull up on. I am a bit surprised at how fast this is happening. It seems like he just started crawling and now all he wants to do is stand! He is fast approaching his first birthday and growing quickly. Oh and he also is drinking from a sippy cup. Something that he wasn't doing much of last week.

This weekend we will head out of town for a getaway with good friends from Denver. This will be the fourth annual trip with them, but the first for Everett. Should be a good time.
